State Level CSO Consultation on prevention of Child Sexual Abuse

A state Level CSO Consultation on the prevention of Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation has been organized by OLS on 19th April 2021 in its conference hall with the participation of 15 stakeholders from BMC, Bhubaneswar, and Jatani block. The consultation was conducted for the National Action and Coordination Group, India for Ending Violence Against Childre through virtual mode involving 100 CSO leaders from 6 districts such as Koraput, Kandhamal, Balasore, Ganjam, Khordha, and Sambalpur. OLS has advocated for the inclusion of children with disabilities in all walks of life and for raising issues of rights violation of children with disabilities as they usually do not get support from any quarter and no one comes forward to raise voices for them. They are more vulnerable to abuse and exploitation than others without disabilities.
