Odisha Nadi Surakhya Sammilani: Reviving Rivers, Restoring Life 

13th June, 2025, Bhubaneswar: Members of River Protection Committees established under Open Learning System’s Empowered Communities for Environment Protection and Disaster Preparedness (ECEPDP) Project, travelled from Nimapada to Bhubaneswar to represent needs and priorities of communities living along Kushabhadra, Bhargavi, and Dhanua river belts, at the Odisha Nadi Surakhya Sammilani (Odisha River Protection Convention) organised by the Mahanadi Bachao Andolan (Save Mahanadi Movement) in collaboration with Open Learning Systems. The Chief Guest at the Convention was Dr. Rajendra Singh, the Water Man of India.
